Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) UK has launched an online travel management solution designed for companies with a small to medium annual travel spend.
The offering, CWT Connect Now, is designed for simple point-to-point online bookings, as well as complex travel requests that necessitate offline expertise.
CWT highlighted that half of its UK clients spend less than £200,000 annually on travel.
The launch of CWT Connect Now will make it faster and easier for companies with a small to medium spend to manage their travel online, said Andrew Waller, executive vice president, CWT UK & Ireland.
According to CWT, companies with managed travel programmes can integrate their travel policy to drive greater compliance and savings and travellers can create and manage their profiles online for speedy and efficient reservations.
CWT Connect Now was developed in conjunction with other CWT offices across Europe and is also being deployed in Denmark, France, the Netherlands and Spain. Austria, Germany and Italy will follow shortly. The roll-out in Sweden and Switzerland will be completed by June.
Up to six million extra holidays each year will be fully protected against the failure of a travel company under new measures announced in the UK.
Best Western International has launched a new promotion on its Facebook page. The company says it intends to remind everyone that road warriors are heroes to the people back home, and this promotion is a way to connect the dots between making a living and living it up with those you love.
GetThere has added new capabilities to its mobile offering in order to meet travellers’ needs on the road while still adhering to the corporation’s policies and preferences.
