Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group’s subsidiaries, Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental, have formed a new partnership with Ireland-based car rental technology firm, CarTrawler, to expand the number of international websites the brands currently support.
Dollar Thrifty has already upgraded and re-launched the first two sites, Prepaid.Thrifty.co.uk and Dollar.co.uk, on the new CarTrawler platform.
Additionally, Dollar Thrifty’s plans with CarTrawler include re-launching the Dollar and Thrifty Canada and Latin America sites by the end of the year.
The new sites are going to offer the option of booking and fully paying in advance for their rentals and would also include market-specific products on websites designed for specific countries, utilising their languages and currencies.
Up to six million extra holidays each year will be fully protected against the failure of a travel company under new measures announced in the UK.
Best Western International has launched a new promotion on its Facebook page. The company says it intends to remind everyone that road warriors are heroes to the people back home, and this promotion is a way to connect the dots between making a living and living it up with those you love.
GetThere has added new capabilities to its mobile offering in order to meet travellers’ needs on the road while still adhering to the corporation’s policies and preferences.
