Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group’s subsidiaries, Dollar Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental, have formed a new partnership with Ireland-based car rental technology firm, CarTrawler, to expand the number of international websites the brands currently support.
Dollar Thrifty has already upgraded and re-launched the first two sites, Prepaid.Thrifty.co.uk and Dollar.co.uk, on the new CarTrawler platform.
Additionally, Dollar Thrifty’s plans with CarTrawler include re-launching the Dollar and Thrifty Canada and Latin America sites by the end of the year.
The new sites are going to offer the option of booking and fully paying in advance for their rentals and would also include market-specific products on websites designed for specific countries, utilising their languages and currencies.
