Emirates has signed a 10-year global airline distribution agreement with Sabre Travel Network

This agreement provides Sabre Connected travel agencies and corporations with access to Emirates' full content fares for the next 10 years through the Sabre GDS.

Keith Longstaff, divisional SVP - Commercial Operations Worldwide, Emirates, said in the past months, the airline has been working to align its distribution arrangements to support Emirates' planned growth in terms of fleet and route expansion, particularly with the arrival of more A380 aircraft.

Only few days back, Sabre Holdings had signed a 10-year agreement with EmQuest, the travel distribution division of Dubai-based Emirates.

As part of the agreement, EmQuest and Sabre will launch distribution services in five new African markets including South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia; providing Sabre solutions, sales, service and support.

From 1 January 2009, EmQuest will also distribute Sabre products to travel agencies in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
