Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has launched a ground transportation solution, termed as the first fully integrated service available in the industry.
The solution will initially roll-out across the UK with other European markets following later this year.
The solution enables businesses to incorporate their ground transportation requirements into corporate travel programmes to deliver real savings in cost, time and resources.
HRG Ground Transportation has been designed specifically for HRG in association with specialist solutions provider GroundScope. The service enables all taxi, chauffeur cars and limousine bookings to be made at the same time as those for air travel and hotel accommodation, providing full visibility of spend and compliance to travel policy.
According to HRG, companies are becoming increasingly aware of the lack of policy and data control they have over this area of spend and are recognising the benefits associated with effective management.
The service is fully integrated with global distribution systems (GDS), so ground transportation bookings are automatically updated if any amendments are made to other aspects of the travel arrangements, saving both time and money.
Up to six million extra holidays each year will be fully protected against the failure of a travel company under new measures announced in the UK.
Best Western International has launched a new promotion on its Facebook page. The company says it intends to remind everyone that road warriors are heroes to the people back home, and this promotion is a way to connect the dots between making a living and living it up with those you love.
GetThere has added new capabilities to its mobile offering in order to meet travellers’ needs on the road while still adhering to the corporation’s policies and preferences.
