10Best Solutions will be providing a turnkey, customized solution for Rezidor SAS including a variety of destination content, design and hosting. The solution will be based on 10Best’s award winning Virtual ConciergeÔ destination guide.
Rezidor’s decision to provide the interactive guides was based on the success that its partner, Carlson Companies, has experienced since first launching the service in 2002. Carlson first tested the destination guide concept on its Radisson Hotels & Resorts site, and then decided to rollout the guides for all its brands and properties in the Americas. Rezidor SAS was also swayed by the fact the 10Best has made a long-term commitment to the European market by establishing a presence here.
Jacques Dubois, Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Distribution & Customer Relationship Management at Rezidor SAS has said, “We believe the market has shown that having high quality, relevant destination content is an important driver of online bookings. The decision to start the first phase of implementation was not that difficult. 10Best came highly recommended by our colleagues at Carlson and we fully expect to achieve similar success here in Europe.”
Brice Bay, 10Best’s CEO, commented, “Rezidor SAS is a natural partner to help us expand in Europe and we will make every effort to ensure that they are satisfied with their choice of supplier. We are looking forward to building a strong relationship and helping to reinforce Rezidor’s e-commerce strategy in the years to come.”
