Ryanair has launched a new online credit card offer, providing 0% interest for the first 10 months on balance transfers.
According to the airline, the offering is four months longer than any other credit card 0% “deal” currently available. The card is provided by MBNA.
Ryanair’s 10-month interest free period allows extra time for new customers to reorganise their finances. The rate thereafter and on card purchases is 14.9% APR (variable).
In addition, the credit card will allow customers to earn bonus flights through making purchases, while both online and 24-hour telephone banking services will also be available.
As per the information available, the 0% rate for 10 months applies to the balance transferred from the date the account is opened. However, it does not apply to retail purchases using the credit card, but it does apply to credit card cheques issued as part of the card. The rate climbs to 14.9pc on purchases after the interest-free period and to 19.9pc for cash withdrawals.
