Now, in partnership with Perfect Getaways, Ryanair passengers can access further savings by booking holiday accommodation on RyanairLettings.com. Eyefortravel’s Managing Director Tim Gunstone says “this is a perfect example of a growing trend where an airline uses its web sites position in the travel buying cycle to maximize revenues. A large percentage of People start to book their holidays with the flight. This allows airlines to sell more products and means they have a great negotiating position with other travel companies. I would love to know what sort of deal they struck with Perfect Getaways. This trend will be a key issue to be debated at this years Travel Distribution Summit in London this 17-18 of June. Its not just Ryan Air doing this. This June we will hear from top executives from Continental, Flybe, Aerlingus, Air Asia X about their strategies to maximize revenues from non core products. Lets hope Sinead can come along too.”
The draft agenda can be found here http://event.eyefortravel.com/travel-distribution-summit/index.php/confe... full speakers will be a announced in a few weeks. To be involved email simon@eyefortravel.com or call on +44 (0) 207 3757181
