Thomas Cook is poised to complete a deal with lastminute.com's Med Hotels for an undisclosed sum.
thisismoney.co.uk reported that the deal is likely to allow the online travel retailer to sell Thomas Cook holidays on the web for the first time.
The Medhotels website currently features over 2000 quality 3, 4 and 5 star resort hotels, villas or apartments in popular destinations throughout the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
