Internet media company Travelzoo has launched a weekly video series on its US website.

The weekly videos can be watched via a link on Travelzoo’s homepage at http://www.travelzoo.com.

The first episode, titled Travelzoo Unleashed, features a hotel travel deal published by Travelzoo as well as “off the beaten path” visitor tips. A new Travelzoo video will be released every Friday morning and broadcast over the Internet.

The company hopes the entertaining and informative online video content will motivate subscribers to take advantage of outstanding travel deals.

Travelzoo’s videos will be hosted by Travelzoo staff, local and international celebrities. Travelzoo users will also have an opportunity to appear in the series.

Travelzoo will also highlight travel deals from its advertisers to feature in each episode as part of the online video series.

The first episode was filmed on location in New York City and hosted by Jeff Gurtman, best known as the host of “Travel Spies” on The Travel Channel. The three-minute segment features New York’s stylish Paramount Hotel near Times Square. The offer published by Travelzoo directs users to a $199 per night deal including upgrade and breakfast.
