PriceBreakers travel deals service enhanced, gets a "live" deals feed on

The enhancements include additional advertising opportunities for suppliers, where traffic will be directed to allow for transactions on the suppliers' own sites. In addition, there will be broader exposure for PriceBreakers deals on and off the website.

In August 2007, PriceBreakers deals were viewed more than two million times. PriceBreakers highlights 20 to 30 of the best last-minute travel deals hand-picked by the PriceBreakers staff and's air, hotel, rental car, cruise and vacation package product teams. Especially deep discounts are highlighted as features. Each deal shows the estimated amount of time left before it is no longer available. All deals are subject to availability and change daily.

PriceBreakers deals typically come from supplier/partners who pay no listing fees because their deals are fulfilled through's transaction engine. PriceBreakers announced that, for a placement fee, it also will allow qualified travel suppliers to offer deals that direct customers back to their own websites for fulfillment. In addition, all listings will be included in a weekly PriceBreakers e-mail. A limited number of these placements will be made available each week.

PriceBreakers deals are supported by a broad promotional network that includes: PriceBreakers deal distribution to more than six million registered e-mail addresses; Web 2.0 distribution through RSS and XML feeds of PriceBreakers deals that can be received by most popular online readers, such as MyYahoo!, GoogleReader, Amphetadesk, FeedDemon, NewsFire, Feedreader and Bloglines; Advertised listings on travel websites including; Keyword search campaigns on popular search engines.

In addition, PriceBreakers is now being supported with a permanent "live" deals feed on the newly redesigned home page. Visitors to" see a special box featuring the most recently posted PriceBreakers deals. The instant a new deal hits PriceBreakers, it is highlighted in the special box.
