Reader’s feedback: Evolving from Web 2.0 to Travel 3.0
I was really excited to read your article. I truly believe that this is the right direction, there is a lot of hype around web 2.0 and Travel 2.0 these days but the truth is that a nice mushup on a Google map and few blogs is just the first step.

I have talked with hundreds of users/online travelers (mainly baby boomers since this is our target audience) and what I learned is that when shopping online, baby boomers are looking for simple, convenient and fast solutions that nonetheless provide a high degree of personalisation and allow for a “do-it-yourself” attitude. They will appreciate a Social Travel site that moves beyond the blogging operation and delivers true e-commerce application with a solid geographic and psychographic focus.
We have just launched TripWiser a week ago so obviously we still have a long way to go but I believe that we have great potential to be one of the leaders of this Travel 3.0 vision/trend.
