Travelport Ltd has appointed Steve Barnhart as Chief Executive Officer of its Orbitz Worldwide online travel agency.

Travelport Ltd has appointed Steve Barnhart as Chief Executive Officer of its Orbitz Worldwide online travel agency.

Barnhart has led Orbitz as President and Chief Financial Officer since September.

Travelport, which is formerly a unit of Cendant Corp, said in March that it plans to sell a portion of its ownership in Orbitz in an initial public offering.
