Some of the popular features and content Viator has been testing include Star Ratings and Customer Reviews (posted only by actual travelers), an acclaimed Travel blog (travelblog.viator.com), Suggested Itineraries and First-Timer Guides, Top 10 lists, Expert Picks, and Shareable Wish Lists.

“Since Viator began introducing these enhancements, customer registrations, repeat visits and conversion have soared as bookings have more than doubled from just a year ago,” stated the company.

“The most memorable part of a traveler’s trip isn’t the flight or the hotel, it’s what they choose to do while at their destination,” according to Viator, Inc. founder and Chairman, Rod Cuthbert, referencing findings of a Harris poll of online travelers the Company conducted while remodeling its website.

“We’ve given Viator.com a makeover and expanded our content and functionality to make it easier for travelers to plan what they’ll do at their destination to create unforgettable experiences at an unbeatable value,” he said.

Viator helps travelers save time and money by eliminating steps and guesswork about operator reliability and competitive pricing.

“The variety of activities on Viator.com covers all seasons in every corner of the world and allows travelers to put a unique twist on the traditional while uncovering things to do they didn’t even know they could,” Cuthbert said.

“Researching and booking trip activities ahead allows travelers more time to enjoy their trip and avoid the disappointment that invariably happens if they wait until arrival and find their desired activity is sold out,” he said.
