Comtec Group Ltd has chosen Denise Womble for the role of General Manger and Senior Vice President as the company gears up for its operations in the US.

Comtec Group Ltd has chosen Denise Womble for the role of General Manger and Senior Vice President as the company gears up for its operations in the US.

The leisure technology company is in the process of launching a US office in Alexandria, VA.

Womble's key focus will be on building relationships with major tour operator, suppliers and retailers in the USA and Canadian markets, and on establishing Comtec as a key travel brand in the marketplace.

Her primary role will be to promote and deliver Comtec's suite of products comprising Travelink (activity and specialists tour operator and dynamic packaging solution), Travelconnect (an aggregated display or package and dynamically packaged product components for the retail trade) and the Comtec Travelgateway, which distributes suppliers content and inventory to the travel trade and web.

Womble has worked in the leisure travel sector over the past 20 years, formerly with Sabre and later with Amadeus/Vacation.com
