Handy Group has introduced a new icon driven interface to coincide with the launch of the new iPhone 3G.

The mobile technology company's solution will allow users to navigate using touch sensitive icons and will be available for use on all the latest handsets using touch screen technology.

Michael Lacy, Chief Executive Officer of Handy Group, said: "Handy Group developed the new icon driven interface to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 3G. The average iPhone user accesses the Internet 100 times more often than any other handset user so this is an important route to market for our clients. This is supported by recent internal statistics which have revealed that 60% of our increase in consumer hits from June 2007 to June 2008 can be attributed to iPhone users."

"Handy Group's core aim is to provide an outstanding experience for all mobile Internet customers. Our technology enables us to identify the phone type and select the best possible user interface for each individual handset. The iPhone 3G is typical of new technology emerging from all major smart phone manufacturers. The development of this new solution was therefore vital to ensure consumers receive the best user experience and functionality available for their handset."
