Cruise travel retailer iCruise.com has launched its Cruise Finder iPad app. This is the fourth mobile product introduction by iCruise.com in the last 12 months.
iCruise.com plans to offer an Amazon.com Kindle Fire version of the Cruise Finder App by the end of first quarter.
The new iPad app provides real-time cruise pricing and booking capability and offers much of the same functionality as the company website, www.iCruise.com.
“We’ve seen a significant increase in traffic to our website from iPad users. We built this app to make it very easy for them to find a cruise with a high-quality, user experience that is consistent with other iPad apps in the travel industry,” said Uf Tukel, co-founder of iCruise parent company, WMPH Vacations.
The app gives iPad users access to information about 30 cruise lines, 250 cruise ships, and 12,000 worldwide itineraries.
The app also features online pricing and booking capability for 10 cruise lines including Royal Caribbean Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Disney Cruise Line, and Norwegian Cruise Line. Users who prefer to speak and book with a real travel agent can do so by calling the iCruise reservation center in Delray Beach, Florida.

In November last year, iCruise.com launched its mobile cruise website, http://m.icruise.com. The company’s other mobile-specific offerings include its iPhone and Android apps.
