lastminute.com has chosen Mobyko.com as its official mobile backup partner. The initial activity has been launched to support lastminute.com's summer campaign.

Mobyko, an online system that allows people to manage their mobile lives online, lets users backup their mobile names and numbers online, while offering 'galleries' to store and share photos and videos. It will be offering all lastminute.com customers a free Premium account worth £24.99.

Jamie Bowler, Marketing Director, Mobyko.com said: "lastminute.com was a natural travel partner for us. It's obvious that anyone travelling at home or abroad should be a concerned about keeping the important stuff inside the phone safe and sound, whilst still using their mobile to the full to capture and enjoy travel memories."

Mobyko also launched the Mobile Survival Kit (MSK) in collaboration with Zygo and Texperts.

The MSK offers backup for contacts, photos and video as well as an SMS answering service and an easy group messaging facility.
