nuTravel Technology Solutions has signed a five-year agreement with ABC Corporate Services.

According to nuTravel, ABC plans to market nuTravel’s booking tool, “CTS”, to its agency partners worldwide, the majority of which being regional travel agencies that will be taking full advantage of nuTravel’s customisable private label online booking service.

nuTravel’s service and continued support includes the usage of its private label marketing materials, a dedicated customer support staff providing implementation support (WebEx Demo’s and training classes), and assistance in achieving adoption goals as well as a full range of technical services and support, according to the company.

“nuTravel enables our travel agency partners to offer convenience in the booking process while also reducing travel costs to the agency and to their customer,” says Carmine Carpanzano, president and chief executive officer of nuTravel. “We understand the agency process. CTS streamlines the touch-less reservation process, creating efficiencies which allow our agency partners to pass along these savings through reduced service fees.”

According to the company, CTS is attractive to its travel agency partners for a number of reasons: No Setup costs and a transaction fee structure that rewards productivity – transaction fee charges for ticketed transactions only; A flexible, configurable solution that can adapt to varying agency environments; Allows agencies to retain their own profiles and integrates them without any changes within CTS; Retrieves the existing customer profile from the agency’s GDS and has one single area where profiles are stored; Books the actual reservation in the agency’s pseudo city (as if a travel agent were booking the reservation); Queue placement and configurable file finishing so the PNR is completely ready for ticketing immediately upon confirming the reservation; Multi-leg/leg fare functionality displays “leg fares” in search results; Travel arranger functionality.
