Travel technology specialist QuadLabs has launched Farepool.com, an online service that helps travel agents access the best deals from multiple suppliers at one place.

Farepool.com is a 24x7 online shop aimed exclusively for travel agents where they can access inventory from specialist suppliers across the world, agents can pick the most profitable fares and earn better margins.

Farepool allows real-time bookings through a state of the art booking engine, which is connected electronically with all the suppliers. Agents can put markups and commissions for their customers and even print invoices with their logo and agency details. Intuitive user interface makes becoming a travel agent easier than ever before, according to the company. It also offers flexible payment options where agents can work on prepaid basis or make real-time payments at the time of booking.

According to Quadlabs, 800 bona fide travel agents in India have already signed up for an account in just three days.

The company stated: "Farepool.com plugs a key gap in the distribution marketplace by its philosophy of "Agent First", a unique approach where the focus is on getting the agent the best deals on all the products that he may be selling. The agent does not have to maintain cumbersome multiple supplier relationships; he now has a single relationship, which gets him the best deals all the time. These are significant benefits for the agents in today's highly competitive market where any cost savings can be a matter of survival for the agent."

With reference to B2B space in India, Gaurav Chiripal, CEO, QuadLabs said there was for long a need for such an agent centric platform. "Farepool.com is a feature rich offering which addresses the key pain areas of the agent community," he said.

Chiripal added that the idea behind Farepool was simple "we wanted to enable a smoother, faster and more efficient way of doing business for the agent".
