Psiloc adds hotel bookings plug-in to World Traveler

Polish mobile solutions innovator Psiloc has signed an agreement with corporate online booking company Hotelzon to add a hotel bookings plug-in to its flagship travel platform, World Traveler.
“The new hotel bookings plug-in, which will be marketed under the Hotelzon name, will allow you to search for, find availability and book a hotel stay either by location, hotel category or length of stay—all through your mobile phone,” Marek Filipiak, Psiloc founder and president, said. “But for the traveller who suddenly gets stuck with nowhere to stay, the search option can be switched to location by GPS, which then automatically checks all hotels in the immediate vicinity.”
The Hotelzon plug-in offers a “GPS-radius” feature, which allows travellers to scan their immediate area for available hotels—even if they don’t happen to know their exact location.
“Simply switch into the plug-in and set your radius for five or 10 or 15 kilometers,” Filipiak said. “Then let World Traveler’s Hotelzon plug-in do the rest and find an available hotel that matches your standards.”
With the addition of recent plug-ins to the company’s World Traveler application, such as the popular Flight Assistant plug-in, which allows travellers to search for and book flights—while also being alerted to flight status changes—Psiloc has seen its total number of users grow to more than 1.5 million users world-wide.
