Adventure and activity holiday company Exodus Travels has launched its iPhone app to help customers choose, book and interact with others travellers booked on their trip.

Exodus stated that it is the first adventure travel company to launch an iPhone app.

Some of the key features of the app include:

• Live chat with an Exodus expert: Contact an Exodus expert through live instant messaging.
• Augmented reality: Find out where your next adventure will be taking you by holding your iPhone up to the horizon and viewing the trip details in augmented reality.
• Reviews from other travellers: Read a wide selection of reviews from like-minded travellers who have already been on the trip.
• Browse and research trips on the go
• Reset your compass
• Reserve your place
• Imagery and video from Exodus and other travellers experiences
• Share trips with friends and family via Facebook, Twitter, or email
• Ask advice from the Exodus community – The Departure Lounge: One can start interacting with the other travellers on his/ her trip by posting a message to Departure Lounge forum.
