Lastminute.com appoints Ed Kamm as its president

Travelocity Global has shared that Ian McCaig is to step down as chief of the online travel website, Lastminute.com. The company has confirmed that Ed Kamm, chief operating officer and former finance director, will now be the president.

Travelocity Global has shared that Ian McCaig is to step down as chief of the online travel website, Lastminute.com. The company has confirmed that Ed Kamm, chief operating officer and former finance director, will now be the president.

McCaig will leave the company on December 10..

McCaig joined lastminute.com in 2003 as Chief Operating Officer from Nokia, and later stepped in to replace Hoberman’s CEO role. Lastminute.com founder, Brent Hoberman, stepped down as CEO in May 2006 to become company chairman.

Kamm has had a 16 year career at Sabre and Travelocity Global, and joined lastminute.com group as CFO in 2005 and became COO in 2007. Over the last three years, he has been responsible for product strategy, portfolio management, sales and customer service and working closely with McCaig on building lastminute.com group's forward strategy.
