Accommodation-only specialist youtravel.com has signed a pan-European deal with Travelport GDS to distribute its beach hotel content to the users of the Galileo Leisure portal.

Accommodation-only specialist youtravel.com has signed a pan-European deal with Travelport GDS to distribute its beach hotel content to the users of the Galileo Leisure portal.

The content will be available from February 19, 2009. It will be made available in the UK, France and Italy intially.

There are also plans to roll it out to Galileo Leisure users in further markets in Europe and the Middle East over the coming months.

In its second year of trading, to October 2008, youtravel.com's group sales reached just under 500,000 heads, twice the number carried in its first year and turnover up 60 percent to Euro 110 million, up from Euro 70 million in its first year.
