Travelocity has enhanced its ExperienceFinder trip planning tool in order to give users more information when planning their dream vacation.

The tool is easier to access with the introduction of “Plan My Trip” tab on Travelocity’s homepage.

“Our studies showed us that more people are approaching travel without being exactly sure of where they want to go and what they want to do,” said Troy Whitsett, vice president of design and innovation for Travelocity. “These enhancements to ExperienceFinder give them even more features that will help them explore, dream and decide on their trip.”

Also new to ExperienceFinder is access to Travelocity and IgoUgo hotel and activity reviews.

Other enhancements include: Utilising technology from MapQuest, organise a trip using an interactive map to shop for hotels and activities; New sorting features, and the ability to pass saved activities to checkout. When it’s time to book, customers just choose their hotel and Travelocity integrates them into one seamless checkout; Photos, slideshows and videos are now all in one application with new sorting options and a full-screen viewer; Look at revamped hotels and activities pages; Use enhanced filters and sorting capabilities – makes it easier for customers to find their ideal hotel or activity.
