Marriott assigns new roles to two senior sales and marketing executives

Marriott International has appointed John Licence as Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Caribbean and Latin America.

Marriott International has appointed John Licence as Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Caribbean and Latin America.

Licence, who is currently UK-based as Vice President, Global Sales for Europe and South Asia will move to Florida in May to take up the post.

Most recently, Dominic Sherry served as Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing - Caribbean & Latin America. Sherry was named Regional Vice President, Sales & Marketing for the Asia Pacific region.

In their new roles, both Sherry and Licence will be responsible for developing the sales and marketing strategy, co-ordinating all sales and marketing activities and assisting with pre-opening initiatives for new hotels & resorts across their respective regions. This responsibility spans five lodging brands: JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts; Marriott Hotels & Resorts; Renaissance Hotels & Resorts; Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments.
