Aer Arann re-launches its website, promises no "unexpected charges"

European airline Aer Arann has re-launched its website (www.aerarann.com), simplifying its previous five step booking process into an easy three steps with no hidden costs.
The regional airline stated that the travellers booking through other online providers are forced to click through several pages of additional expenses while watching flights double and triple in price.
"Aer Arann customers can select and book their flights without all that hassle and uncertainty," state the airline. It added that Aer Arann's website has no price add-ons or click-throughs. The full cost of the ticket is reflected in the first and only total, making bookings user-friendly and fully price transparent. Future travellers need only enter their origin and destination and click once to see their truthful flight costs. No hidden fees, no click-throughs and no scrolling required.
"A lack of price transparency is too often practiced in the airline industry, much to the displeasure of hopeful passengers," said Colin Lewis, Head of Sales and Marketing, Aer Arann. "Our new website has no unexpected charges. What our customers see is exactly what they pay – tax, luggage and check-in included."
The airline shared that it is one of the only low-cost airlines currently lightening the load for passengers by refusing to sting them with hidden baggage or check-in charges. "Other low-cost competitors are notorious for charging extra for baggage or checking in at the airport, with anything between £8-100 depending on the nature of the luggage or circumstance. Flying to 29 destinations in the UK, Ireland and the Continent, Aer Arann is particularly appealing to families and golfers who are often hardest hit by other airlines' baggage charges,"
Lewis said there are so many hidden charges being slapped on by other low-cost airlines which suddenly hike up the price of the flight, leaving travellers out of pocket.
"We feel it is time to give passengers a fairer deal and thanks to our policy our customers are getting exactly that," said Lewis.
The airline's checked baggage allowance is 15kgs per passenger on all flights and for those with children the infant baggage weight allowance is 7kgs with one stroller or buggy per child.
