Agoda.com has announced a partnership with Marriott International Inc. The distribution agreement covers all Marriott’s properties worldwide.

The online travel company, specialising in discounted hotel bookings in Asia, is expected to focus initially on the Asia Pacific region in popular destinations like Bangkok, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Wilfred Fan, VP - business development, Agoda highlighted that hotels are given complete control of their inventory and content, “with more flexibility to adapt in the current dynamic environment”.

Agoda will provide Marriott with access to their Yield Control System (YCS) allowing properties to dynamically manage yield rather than focusing on negotiating long-term pricing or allotments. The company also mentioned that its local market expertise will enable it to provide Marriott with advice on frequently changing market situations.
