European low cost airline easyJet has renewed its relationship with Mondial Assistance. The two companies have signed a five-year pan-European agreement.
The partnership has already spanned eight years.
Last year, Mondial Assistance sold over two million online travel insurance policies to easyJet’s European customers.
This was a 25 percent increase against 2007 when it more than doubled easyJet’s ancillary revenue from travel insurance sales.
Mondial aims to increase revenue still further in 2009 by at least another nine percent.
