The Guardian has finalised a white label arrangement with Expedia Affiliate Network.

The white label booking solution is hosted on the Guardian.co.uk travel pages. It will allow users to book flights, hotel accommodation, car hire and other holiday activities at destinations worldwide.

Kate Morgan-Locke, head of ventures at Guardian News & Media, said, “Our users take multiple holidays throughout the year, from longer holidays in exotic destinations to weekend city breaks and everything in between, so it was key for us to partner with a travel company that offers a wide range of options specifically tailored to individual customers’ needs.”

As per the information available, The Guardian has previously hosted similar holiday and flight comparison services with both Travel Supermarket and Lastminute.com.

The team at Expedia Affiliate Network believes access to information helps its partners manage their business more effectively and profitably. The company has a strong focus on collaboration with its partners to drive revenues by increasing conversion.

“We apply our expert knowledge and share our learnings on site placement, optimisation and design, merchandising and marketing initiatives and both strategic and tactical initiatives to drive traffic and conversion. We have automated reports that detail all metrics that help partners keep track of their revenues but also analyse customer behaviour trends that provide data to make better decisions. We also provide in-depth analysis after marketing campaigns to provide insights and learnings. At the Expedia Affiliate Network data is key to optimising our partnerships,” Cameron Jones, director of business development EMEA, Expedia, told EyeforTravel.com’s Ritesh Gupta earlier this year.
