Rattray will be responsible for GetThere's business across the region, including marketing, sales, and service to corporations and travel management companies.

Rattray, who previously focused on GetThere and corporate strategy for three years with Sabre Pacific, has also spent more than four years with Thrifty Car Rental as the company's business development manager covering the corporate market and then as online manager, where he was responsible for sales and marketing for the Web, corporate partnerships and loyalty programmes.

Amadeus expands Business Solutions Group in Asia Pacific

Lisa Akeroyd, who formerly headed up the Travel Services business, has transitioned into the role of Regional Director for Corporate Solutions in Asia Pacific. Based in Amadeus' Asia Pacific headquarters in Bangkok, Akeroyd will lead the team to deliver corporate travel solutions in Asia Pacific.

Shell Lim, who previously managed the Amadeus Airline Direct Channel, is now Regional Director, IT Sales, Business Solutions Group. Lim will manage business consulting services and sales for the full suite of Amadeus Travel Office Products & Solutions (TOPS) in the Asia Pacific region.

Egencia launches its operations in Australia

The company will also provide access to Egencia's global supply network including localised hotel and air content, user friendly policy and trip approval controls, and direct access and control of data through its global reporting functionality

Amadeus and SAP deliver integrated travel management and expense solution

Made up of the travel expense management functionality in the SAP Travel Management application and Amadeus eTravel Management, this approach responds to customer demand for open, modular travel management solutions that can work with their existing chosen expense systems rather than alternative stand-alone platforms, according to the two companies.
