British Airways has reportedly launched an investigation into comments on a Facebook group created by London Gatwick Ground Staff.
As per the information available, comments indicated that travellers were "smelly" and that Heathrow's Terminal 5 is currently operating in a "Shambolic" manner.
According to the comments on the Facebook pages, BA staff's biggest hate is passengers who put boarding passes in their mouths before handing them to staff at the departure gate. They also have little time for celebrity passengers and their ire is also drawn by "stupid American accents".
A British Airways spokesman said: "We will be talking to the individuals concerned about their disappointing and unwise comments, which are totally unrepresentative of the vast number of hard working ground staff we employ at Gatwick."
According to dailymail.co.uk, in the latest incident, one BA staff member called `Suely' created a Facebook discussion board entitled `Things that irritate you more when working on check-in', on which 13 complaints were listed.
