Car hire comparison search engine Carrentals.co.uk has launched its Facebook application, enabling customers to compare prices and availability in over 15,000 locations worldwide through the Carrentals..co.uk Facebook page.
The app has been developed in-house by the company’s technical team.
The new application enables customers to compare prices, vehicles and availability from up to 50 suppliers in the following currencies – GB£, US$, Euros and AUS$.
The application will pre-fill customers details including age, country of origin, currency and email address, making it easier and faster to access car hire searches. It also gives Facebook users the option to edit and change details for each individual search.
Gareth Robinson, MD of Carrentals.co.uk, said, “The ability to quickly search by price and availability while remaining on Facebook means there is no disruption to the customers’ online experience, and they can be sure they benefit from the widest choice of deals in the market.”
The Carrentals.co.uk Facebook application carries out the search and retrieves results while allowing customers to remain on the Facebook page, only taking the customer to the supplier page if the customer would like to proceed with the booking.
