CheapTickets launches beta-test of Spanish Telesales Center

Published: 26 Sep 2007

“The new CheapTickets telesales number -- in the short term -- can help us cater to what we believe is an underserved audience,”said Seth Brody, Vice President and General Manager, Hospitality Services and Telesales, Orbitz Worldwide.

“It will also give us insight into the booking trends, patterns and travel products most valuable to our Spanish-speaking customers as we move toward launching a Spanish-language website,” said Brody.

According to the company, through the new telesales center, customers will have the ability to: Receive personalised travel assistance from a Spanish-speaking customer care/telesales agent through call centers based in Panama; and Book travel accommodations from any of CheapTickets’ family of discounted travel products including air, hotel, cruises, vacation packages, activities and event tickets.
