First Choice Holidays has launched a personal pre-departure website MyFirstChoice for online customers following the success of MyThomson developed for sister company Thomson holidays last year.
The website aims to enhance customer’s pre-departure experience by providing all their holiday details and information in one place.
All First Choice online package holiday customers will benefit from this service.
Customers will be able to view useful information such as the weather forecast for their holiday destination, directions to the airport from their home, (powered by Google Maps) and notifications of road-works en-route. Further details about the hotel and destination will also be available, with links to videos and photos. They will also be able to purchase helpful extras such as UK airport parking, car hire, holiday insurance and excursions in resort, with all quotes personally tailored.
Exclusive to My First Choice and especially for family bookings, there’s a ‘just for families' page with games, tips for travelling with kids and a printable activity sheet to get the whole family involved and excited about their holiday. There are also maps for the First Choice Holiday Villages, internal airport maps and more, all tailored to the customer’s booking information.
