Leger Holidays, a provider of escorted tours, has launched Leger Lounge, a new online social area for visitors.
The new interactive area will be a meeting place for visitors and will offer a range of social content including a forum, lifestyle information, competitions, shopping and online polls.
It will also offer users the ability to email and vote their opinions on various issues. This function, coupled with the forum, will provide useful feedback to agents on customer views, stated the company.
Michael Rhodes, e-Commerce Manager, Leger Holidays, said, "The Internet is extremely influential when it comes to people choosing and booking their holiday which is why we are dedicated to continually expanding our online offering to give customers more.
He added, "The Leger Lounge is something which is really new and innovative for the travel sector and offers our customers so much more. We are confident that it will be an extremely popular addition to the site and go a long way in attracting new visitors."
Up to six million extra holidays each year will be fully protected against the failure of a travel company under new measures announced in the UK.
Best Western International has launched a new promotion on its Facebook page. The company says it intends to remind everyone that road warriors are heroes to the people back home, and this promotion is a way to connect the dots between making a living and living it up with those you love.
GetThere has added new capabilities to its mobile offering in order to meet travellers’ needs on the road while still adhering to the corporation’s policies and preferences.
