Letting users decide whether to view the ad or not

Unlike pre-roll and post-roll video advertising platforms, Adotube's In-Stream Flash Media Player was specifically designed with the end user in mind: Users must click on the ad for it to run, which means they choose to watch the ad rather than being forced to view an ad that pops up while they're watching a video. The ads are displayed overlaying the video stream without obscuring the video and annoying the internet user. All ads are demographically targeted and statistically optimised, attributes that ultimately produce a greater profit for the advertiser.

"Essentially, Instream Flash Media Player is an online video monetising platform that enables advertisers to generate revenue with roll-over ads that Internet users choose to watch at their convenience," said Leo Grzhonko, Adotube's founder and CEO.

On the ads, he said, "We call it the in-stream interactive online video monetising solution. Advertisers love AdoTube because they profit from their videos without aggravating the viewer."

Apart from opt-in video advertising, Adotube is currently developing such innovative advertising technology as contextual video advertising and user behavior-driven video advertising.
