Travel comparison search site LowFares.com has launched a new, feature-rich website.
The new site makes it easier for travellers to comparison shop for travel deals. In addition to its comparative search capability, the portal is also offering travel information, including news, travel guides, and other relevant trip planning tools.
New site features include: content on popular destinations, as selected by LowFares users, exclusive travel news feed, popular city guides written by travel experts, with unique LowFares.com travel tips, travel blog, including budget-friendly stories and a broader selection of travel deals.
The site’s subscriber base recently crossed the half-million mark.
According to a recent Google whitepaper, the number of mobile users researching travel via their mobile devices is expected to grow 51% in 2012.
