Travel search company SideStep has signed a deal with OAG enabling the travel and transport information company to integrate a fare search and booking facility within its hosted timetable solutions.

OAG currently provides timetable solutions to many of the world’s largest airports and the integration of SideStep’s functionality will enable travelers to search and compare fares for flights into or out of a particular airport and then click through to make a booking.

The new service is available immediately.

“Our partnership with SideStep enables our airport customers to continue enhancing their travelers’ website experience, and keep them coming back,” said Joe Laughlin, vice-president sales and service, OAG Americas.

Rob Solomon, president and chief executive officer, SideStep, said travel search is an ideal way for site owners to offer their customers a first rate travel experience.

“SideStep’s innovative real-time search technology further enhances OAG’s current travel services by providing its timetable customers with the most comprehensive travel search on the web,” added Solomon.
