Steak Media set for expansion in US and Australia

The company stated that the expansion will complement the functioning of its London office and will enable Steak to respond to the increasing demand for integrated global campaigns more effectively.

In September, Steak secured its first round of funding from Beringea Ltd, Manager of the ProVen VCTs. The investment has allowed the company to expand internationally and accelerate its growth strategies.

The New York office will initially be led by Steak's CEO Oliver Bishop and will be fully operational by January 2008.

The Melbourne office will be headed up by Kevin Durston as Managing Director and Martin Carlill as Head of Paid Search. Previously, Kevin worked as Head of Online at one of the UK's leading consumer finance portals, Find.co.uk. Martin has been an employee at Steak since 2005.

With the expansion of its client base Steak's predicted turnover for next year is £25m.
