TravelTainment has decided to acquire Bonn, Germany-based online marketing company Pixell.
TravelTainment stated the product portfolios of two companies complement each other.
Pixell Travel Suite functionality provides automatic distribution of relevant offers from the TravelTainment IBEs via all marketing channels including: SEO, SEM, display marketing, direct marketing and affiliate marketing as well as Twitter, social networks or mobile devices.
With this offering, companies like Expedia or TUI are able to add context-sensitive offers to complex banner or adword campaigns. The Travel Suite automatically updates each campaign, including the availability and pricing of holiday offers.
Pixell will continue operating independently. The company also works on customised solutions for tour operators and online travel agencies.
