VisitBritain has worked upon a new online service that helps international visitors compare the price of flights to British airports.

The service is to be officially introduced during the World Travel
Market, to be held next month.

As per the information available, the new flights engine on
www.visitbritain.com
2F%2Fwww.visitbritain.com> makes it even easier for potential visitors
to plan their trip and drives bookings to individual airline websites.

At present 24 airlines are participating in the service including
British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and bmi and, through agreements with
consolidators such as Opodo and Orbitz, it will provide details of
flights from over 500 airlines.

Tom Wright, chief executive of VisitBritain, said: "Our new flights
engine provides an even more comprehensive information service on
visitbritain.com for people planning to travel to Britain. Our customers
can now save time by coming to a single, trusted and impartial
organisation to find a range of flights options and search for the best
offers available."
