Farm Stay, UK-based farmer-owned consortium specialising in providing accommodation for visitors to the countryside, has signed a partnership with specialist e-commerce operator Tiscover UK.

Farm Stay, UK-based farmer-owned consortium specialising in providing accommodation for visitors to the countryside, has signed a partnership with specialist e-commerce operator Tiscover UK.

Apart from this latest contract with Farm Stay, Tiscover also have partnership arrangements with the East of England Tourist Board, Bournemouth, Plymouth, the Isles of Scilly and South Oxfordshire.

Tiscover currently operate sites in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa and the UK.

“As members of EuroGites, Farm Stay have long admired the superb and highly effective online availability and booking system provided by Tyrolean-based Tiscover for their larger continental colleagues, the Austrian Farm Holiday Association. With their expansion into the UK market, Tiscover are now able to provide a similar quality service to Farm Stay UK and its network of over 1150 members spanning the length and breadth of the country,” stated a release.

“Tiscover offers that security having been providing Internet services for more than 15 years. In 2005 alone, their sites attracted over 385 million page views and in excess of 1 million booking and reservation enquiries,” said Farm Stay chief executive Nigel Embry.
