OAG has added a new online hotel `look and book’ service on its travel website, www.oag.com.

The global travel and transport information company shared that World Choice Travel, a division of the Travelocity Partner Network, powers the reservation system.

The OAG.com hotel booking engine offers more than 200 major hotel brands in nearly 10,000 destinations worldwide at discounted rates. The site features full colour hotel brochures and interactive mapping, and is available in six languages and in more than 160 currencies.

According to Duncan Alexander, managing director business development, OAG, “The new service is targeted at business and leisure consumers who need a quick and easy solution to finding and booking a hotel. It makes our travel portal an even more useful and relevant resource for corporate customers and the travelling public.”

“OAG.com is already providing a wealth of worldwide flight and travel information, including electronic guides to more than 200 countries and 400 airports, all designed to assist travellers and travel arrangers in making the best possible travel decisions,” said Alexander. “The addition of this simple `look and book’ service is complimentary to the subscription products we offer the corporate market for preparing complex and frequent trip plans with preferencing and full itinerary building capabilities.”
