The agreement will provide WAYN’s nine million members, when they are planning their future trips, with the ability to search for and book hostel and budget accommodation in over 165 countries. WAYN members will also get to see who’s been, who’s going and who wants to go to the same places as them, and share experiences with others.

Co-founder and co-chief executive of WAYN, Peter Ward, said: “This partnership means that our members will not only find it even easier to share their recommendations on the best places to stay when they travel, with their friends and others, but it also means that they will have access to an excellent range of accommodation to choose from at all budget levels, with prices starting from only £5 per night.”

This deal paves the way for WAYN.com to beef up its travel service offerings, having recently signed an agreement with lastminute.com to integrate hotels content and booking into its soon to be re-launched travel platform.

The ‘WAYN Hostelworld’ content and booking facility will be available for WAYN members to benefit from in early November in all countries.
