Farelogix Inc. and SureWare LLC have signed an alliance agreement and will be collaborating on the integration of the SureWare profile management and back office solutions with the Farelogix FLX Platform.

SureWare will also integrate the FLX Platform into its service bureau operations, enabling customers to seamlessly connect traveler profiles and capture back office interfaces with the FLX Platform. The agreement between the two companies will result in a complete turnkey solution for travel faring, booking, administration and reporting.

“Core customer service goals are to reduce costs and support new distribution, service and processing models,” said Rob Erickson, co-founder and chief executive officer, SureWare. “With the Farelogix alliance, our customers now have the option to deploy and drive the benefits of the Farelogix FLX Platform across their operations, while we host the system and manage the integration of travel profiles and back office processes. With an integrated solution that can be deployed to frontline agents, our customers have an exceptional opportunity to improve efficiencies and reduce costs across front and back office operations.”

With Farelogix, TMCs can better optimise the many supplier and distribution services available in the travel market. The FLX Platform provides efficient and cost-effective product distribution, multi-host data management, and rules-driven searching, pricing, and booking. It will enable SureWare clients to source travel inventory from a variety of channels, including supplier-direct connections, GDS, as well as private and Internet fare sources. It will also enable agents to source travel content against an infinite number of flexible, rules-based criteria. These include lowest cost to the supplier (competitive booking source) and best content source according to supplier (i.e. website).

“SureWare’s service bureau model uniquely positions the company to integrate solutions that proactively respond to the changing dynamics of the travel industry,” said Jim Davidson, chief executive officer, Farelogix.

“Our working relationship with SureWare reinforces our focus on delivering a comprehensive solution
that can also be used to process the “Super PNR” across front and back office operations to simplify industry connections, streamline processes, eliminate errors and reduce costs. This alliance is all about our strategy to shape the way agencies access content, drive cost efficiencies and manage the ever increasing complexity of their business,” said Davidson.

SureWare’s service bureau solutions enable travel management companies (TMCs) and corporations to process travel booking transaction volume with greater accuracy and cost efficiency. Its solutions include profile management, real-time global distribution system (GDS) interfaces, Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) Interactive Agent Report (IAR) reconciliation, service fee billing, hotel commission tracking, and reporting and query tools for managing both operational and travel management data.
