Travel technology specialist Multicom is set to roll its FindandBook system overseas after striking a deal with French web firm, Advences.

The deal paves the way for the company to provide its FindandBook service to a wide range of French travel companies, including leaders in the French online travel industry, according Multicom's spokesperson David Osborne.

FindandBook allows agents, operators and online brands to sell travel components online. The system takes bookable products from hundreds of airlines – including scheduled, nett, low-cost and charter – thousands of hotels and millions of package holidays, plus extras and Eurostar, and distributes them to a range of trade and consumer-facing customers.

The solution can be directly integrated into any website, or can be harnessed by bricks and mortar agencies and call centres, allowing users to access its content feed seamlessly from within their own website or system.

FindandBook currently powers around 40,000 calls in session a minute, with each search carried out in real time and with most returning results (via XML) in less than a second.
