SynXis has launched an interface for independent hotels and small- to medium-size hotel chains to link directly from its central reservation systems to Expedia.

SynXis can now connect its more than 10,000 hotel customers to either Expedia QuickConnect, a hotel reservation system interface through which hotels can automate the exchange of room, rate and booking information with Expedia, Inc. sites worldwide or Expedia Connect, Expedia’s solution for large hotel chains.

SynXis hotels using the RedX Distribution Management System can manage rates without having to enter a separate extranet.

The RedX interface to Expedia links hotels directly to more than 70 Expedia- and hotels.com-branded sites worldwide plus Chinese online travel site eLong.
