Travel technology company The Vertical Group has created a dynamic packaging system, Dynamite, enabling agents to “meet the explosion in individual packaging of holidays to fulfil customers’ specific needs”.

The company says the state-of-the-art system also allows agents to obtain the most competitive prices for customers and generate increased margins for their businesses.

Vertical Group chief executive Peter Healey said: “We believe Dynamite provides agents with the most powerful selling tools on the market. It combines the breadth of product with competitive pricing while still allowing agents to increase margins and stay in control.”

Dynamite costs £15 per user but is available for a six-month free trial. Existing users of the TARSC back-office system will be able to automatically download booking information from the dynamic packaging system into their accounting system.

“Dynamite is easy to use with agents keying holiday needs into a search engine, which then automatically pulls together all the requirements including flight, hotel, car-hire and transfers. The system searches across a wide range of flights, hotels and other holiday components to return the best available rates.
The technology brings back a fully costed package for agency staff to offer to the customer. Agency owners or managers remain in full control of the final selling price as the gross margin can be set in advance. Dynamite is flexible enough to be used as a desktop reservation tool in an agency or integrated into a website,” stated the company.
