A new strategic US alliance, undertaken by Prevu, is expected to take the New Zealand born company a step closer to establishing the travel industry’s first global e-marketing network.

Prevu is one of Asia Pacific’s largest multimedia specialists providing online media solutions for travel industry customers around the globe.

Commenting on the alliance with Florida-based ICE Portal, Bert Lamb, Prevu Co-founder and Chairman, says the alliance will give Prevu hotel customers improved access to audiences in North America and Europe.

“Together we will be able to provide our Asia Pacific customers and distributors with a more complete suite of e-marketing services. This is a major step towards our ambition of establishing the travel industry’s first global e-marketing network.’

ICE Portal is a leading US-based producer and distributor of multi-media content for the travel industry. Its content is used by some of the world’s leading online travel brands, including Orbitz, CheapTickets.com, Mark Travel and World Choice Travel.

“In addition to the PREVU network of 450 websites, our Asia Pacific hotel partners will now be distributed to the 15,000 websites in the ICE network,” states Peter Tanner, Prevu Managing Director. “Equally exciting, our Asia Pacific distributors will have access to 1,000 virtual tours and video clips from suppliers in the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean.”
