Asia Pacific travel search engine Bezurk.com has signed a marketing partnership with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, designed to market the carrier’s website, KLM.com.sg.

With this partnership, Bezurk.com will promote KLM’s worldwide fares and brand to Asia Pacific travelers within its flights search engine. The partnership is limited to KLM Singapore via their local site www.klm.com.sg and excludes KLM Australia.

A combination of search results listings and geographically targeted sponsored advertising will enable KLM to reach active travelers as they search for specific trips. Customers will earn Flying Blue miles, avoid hefty booking fees, and obtain KLM best fares by booking directly on KLM.com.sg.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is the first carrier in Singapore to implement a Best Price Guarantee for tickets bought on KLM.com. In addition to the guarantee, KLM.com has also introduced Internet Bank Transfer as an alternative way of payment.

“Bezurk’s supplier friendly model is aligned with our strategic focus on directing travelers to KLM.com.sg,” said Arjan van de Bovenkamp, KLM regional marketing manager.

“We’re looking to engage directly with consumers, which enables us both to reduce our cost of sales and to build relationships between travelers and KLM.com.sg,” said Bovenkamp.

Craig Hewett, founder and chief marketing officer, Bezurk.com said the search engine adds value in terms of extending the reach for KLM and strategically placing KLM in front of qualified customers as they are making their purchasing decision.
